we play pathfinder, our DM rewards us with hero points for good RP, it's a great system that truly encourages you to immerse yourself if you want to have that epic moment

we tried several styles, our dm was good about trial run campaigns to see how things worked. we still like to use randomized tables for non storyline magic items but it can be interesting temporarily nerfing your 4th level fighter getting a +5 vorpal til high enough level to "awaken" the magic. even funnier when they sell the item for cheap before hand and next bossfight bbg has it fully working😂

i have homebrew rules that dm inspiration can give an action surge and healing, but they always waste it on the most meaningless rerolls 😭

We don't get an inspiration usually but we have 3 re-rolls for every Pathfinder session and we can use our RePoints to reroll ANY check in Starfinder✨
