@join_jules: EPISODE 1: Thanksgiving Apps & Sips 🦃🍷 Crostinis & a Fall Lambrusco Spritz We’re pairing one of my favorite appetizers the Crostini with cranberry sauce, a good cheese, prosciutto and thyme with a Fall Lambrusco Spritz - the sweet and savory of the crostini pairs perfectly with the sweet, bitter and savory from the Spritz! And yes, the rosemary olive oil syrup will be my new personality trait this fall. Here’s how to make it: To a glass filled with ice add: 1 oz Aperitif of choice 3/4 oz fresh grapefruit juice 1/2 oz olive oil syrup 3 oz Lambrusco 1 oz Prosecco Mix together & pair with your crostinis! Olive oil syrup: To a pot add 1 cup sugar + 1 cup water + 2-3 rosemary sprigs + 1 tbsp Olive Oil Place on medium heat until sugar dissolves, let simmer for 10 minutes. Let cool completely & strain.
