i’m studying civil engineering and working a full time civil job rn and honestly 99% of the math i do is addition, multiplication or trig. you just gotta push through calc but so worth imo

Please don’t give up if you only tried it once lots of doctors and engineers had to take classes 3+ times. If you really want it it’s worth trying again.

I failed calc 1 and calc 2 and 3 other classes. my gpa is terrible but I graduated and am an engineer now. literally nobody in my professional life know about it

Terrible at math growing up. I never gave up. My morning exercises for five years now are math problems. I figured out whats my weakness and worked on it. I can proudly say I have gotten A’s in math

If you’re struggling with calc 1, it’s not the calc 1. There’s probably something foundational in an earlier math you need to brush up on (or maybe you had a poor teacher previously)

I’m a civil major passed calc 1 on my third try currently doing calc 3 passed calc b first try and it’s supposed to be the hardest everyone fails calc 1 basically and after all those calcs u wont need

You can do this! Doing my science phd and i had to take calc 3 four times in undergrad 💖 graduated with my math degree and doing just fine now 😌

idk if you learn well by yourself, but I found Flipped Math to be incredibly helpful when I did AP Calc BC. It covered Calc 1 and Calc 2, there’s videos explaining each concept, there’s worksheets and there’s answer keys
