As someone who actively works in Carbon removal, this is encouraging. I’m definitely not a fan of Exxon but it’s encouraging to see private sector big oil stepping up like this and making a statement.

Exxon Mobil has been heavily investing in CCS and acquiring small CCS firms. They’re also about to startup a HUGE hydrogen plant in Baytown. Leaving Paris accord now would be a huge loss for Exxon
