I agree with most of what you're saying, but I'm tired of hearing "fair and square" when it's glaringly suspicious.

While optimism is important, so is being realistic. He is stacking his Cabinet and key advisors with some really bad people. It’s not good.

I hear what you’re saying, but this is WAYYYYYYYY different than voting for Kerry in 2004 (first time I voted). We can’t afford to have blind optimism and continue doing this high road nonsense when the GOP has no scruples whatsoever. We will continue to lose with this approach.

Indeed what if she comes back more stronger, refined, defined and convincing and win the primary election she can still run in 2028

I think it's very easy to think like this when the presidency doesn't directly affect your life. But thank you for your positivity.

I just worry about the level of damage we will have to undo AGAIN. Picking up the pieces, rather than having a good stretch and getting a head is getting old.

I keep thinking of this exact thing, when Bush won over Kerry i was sure we were doomed. and, we survived. this is what I keep thinking about.

I think it’s hard for a lot of us who are younger and haven’t seen this happen before. It feels terrifying.

Now this is a message I feel that we should be pushing forward instead of the doom and gloom. We all have to find the light at the end. Thank you for trying to be calm in the storm

This is the message. It’s just so scary as an adult. I was a kid when that happened. Ignorance was bliss. I don’t want to be an adult through this lol

I understand all of this I have tried to look at the “it won’t be as bad as he says”side but what about dreamers? they are literally targeting them. Yeah you will be ok but not all of us

Based off of some of these comments I'm gonna say...read into the sarcasm here. The 'totally fair and square' was definitely said with a certain air.

having hope makes me crash when it's crushed. it's better for me to prepare for the worst so when it happens I expect it and it doesn't hurt as bad. maybe it's that autism.
