Deer cannot see red wavelengths well do to how their vision works. Something at our above 670nm wavelength will work well as it's very hard for them to see.

Deer see the blue spectrum scale 20X better then we can but the red spectrum is more black and white for them

I run red lights on my sxs when traveling to and from my stands. I see way more activity when doing so compared to running normal white lights. Been doing this for 10 years.

everyone saying to use green light, be careful if there's water around. Green light reflects on water, red does not. I hunt in Maryland swamp areas often
