We work short staffed 99% all the time. Doing a job for 1.5 nurses for each nurse. Give us our payrise. We dont get paid any extra for doing more work. Expecting as to deliver safe patient care

GIVE THEM A PAY RISE! Midwives are the ONLY HEALTH CARE WORKERS in the hospital that look after 2x the amount of patients. Mother and baby are BOTH patients that are expected to be looked after.

at first minns govt argued that there’s no funding for nurses pay increase but then other occupations are getting 37%?? now they’ve switched up the narrative - their argument is that we “chose” ratios and patient safety. yet they haven’t even managed to implement those ratios they speak of
