@rickstrom: The Hershey Bears recently showed how keeping politics out of sports is a flat-out farce. They welcomed members of the military to display their gadgets that American taxpayers fund to take part in the ceremonial puck drop. The Bears are in the AHL and an affiliate of the Washington Capitals. From the NFL to the NBA, NHL to MLB, these stunts continue showing the hypocritical nature of the entite “keep sports and politics separate” movement.
