@thekingofchemo: Without a doubt in my mind the great world race is going to be the hardest thing I’ve ever even considered doing. The logistics are so tight we need to sleep on the plane as we travel from each continent. And only have an 8 hour window to complete each marathon. Even eating enough food is going to be a task. We start on the 15th (unless the weather is too harsh to land in Antarctica 🇦🇶) and I’ll be announcing later today when I’m allowed, but I’ve also been nominated for a very very big social media award, and the voting lasts 10 days which is almost perfectly synchronised with the ending of this race. It might be helpful as I’m going to be doing something very very cool, but Antarctica isn’t great for signal, so reminding people to vote isn’t going to be the easiest thing in the world to add to an already tricky endeavour, so for all of the people who are offering help, over the next 10 days I’ll need you more than ever. Winning this award (details of it later today) would open so many door to attract sponsors.
