She might have lost her sense of taste and smell. That happened to me when I had Covid the first time and it makes it very difficult to eat.

I remember when I got covid, I couldn't taste food and even well after it had passed, my taste for food was still off. Don't think anything can help that. I wonder if that's the issue though. 🥺
