@taykathryn: The best way to see Prague in a time crunch is for sure going to be by doing a free walking tour! There is a whole company called “Free Walking Tour Prague” that meets in the center and then walks around Old Town for about 3 hours. The guide is so well informed and will tell you everything you could ever know about Prague. There were so many things I learned on the walking tour that I would not have known otherwise, like that a local beer shop is the former home of the town executioner and no one used to go there because it was a bad omen. Or the actual symbolism of the figurines on the astronomical clock.
