My therapist just told me yesterday that BPD can be genetic. But not as extreme. But usually if you’re being raised by someone with BPD, they cause trauma that brings out those traits.

Bipolar can be from trauma too. And isn't limited to 4 or less episodes. Both are similar yet very different! 🖤🖤

the euphoria with the bpd is so real, i can go days being anxious and depressed and then out of no where i’ll get super spontaneous and do things that give me an energy rush

BPD can be caused by genetics as well as trauma but most likely by both at the the same time like I have and I DO have mania with it as well :)

As somebody with bipolar disorder, there are not a certain amount of episodes you can have a year! Although episodes of mania/depression must last at least 1-2 weeks, so they are longer!! -

I’M FINALY IN SUSTIANED RMEISSION FROM MY BPD 😎😎….. I hit the 4 year mark on the 29th of DEC. It took a lot of work to get here, a lot of management and life changes. But I did it 🙃☺️
