Just a friendly reminder to most folks when the Fed cuts interest rates these do not move the needle on mortgage rates. Mortgage interest rates are most closely tied to the 10 year treasury.

I close on 12/9 and had to lock in at 6.6% a few weeks ago 🥺🥺 I floated it when it was 5.8% thinking it was gonna come down cause that’s what everyone thought 😭

Also related to wfh. Dont treat the two in isolation. With more people going back into the office that will also cool the housing market

I am closing more than I have in my career. Sellers are much more willing to negotiate than they ever have before. Marry the house, date the rate.
