I grew up in the black hills, I still live here but I was NEVER taught about the atrocities until I was a Junior in hs and that was only because my teacher cared to show us a movie. It’s so messed up

They would have pamphlet’s saying “come kill “Indians” and you’ll get rewarded” this was in the 1840-1890s which is the peak of European immigration to this land
