yep, I'm getting a surgery done soon, and funny enough, it's a knee surgery. I've been diagnosed with a hypermobile syndrome since I was 5, and it gradually got worse during my puberty. my joints are extremely loose and weak, causing me to have extreme pain and dislocations, especially my knees and shoulders. the tendons holding my kneecaps are crooked, they aren't laid straight on my knees and they're pulling my kneecaps sideways and upwards, causing my kneecaps to easily miss my knee. this surgery puts my kneecap in the correct placement and hopefully ends all my knee problems. the recovery period is 6 to 9 months, so it's not nothing lol. hope this helps y'alls curiosity♡ (yes I am medically disabled, I also have chronic migraines and scoliosis) #xianyun #cloudretainer #adeptus #GenshinImpact #cosplay
