Wouldn’t they simply get another ingrown toenail after slicing so deep within the sides ? Did they actually have ingrown on both sides ? 🤔I’ve had surgery for ingrown toenail removal and supposedly deadened that area but yup Dr said could come back and it’s back 😣.. also ended up with fungus after the first surgery been using prescription topical solution now for nearly 2 years , fungus is going away , but the big toenail seems to be curving some is why I thing I got the ingrown nail again . Been trying to soak and cut at times but I’m realizing I’m gonna have to make an appointment with the podiatrist. Only time it hurts now is with pressure, the toe was damaged prior to surgery and maybe 3or 4 times since but this last year I have babied it and better. I just can’t stand the pain when accidentally pressured on.

I've had the "permanent" solution by a surgeon 4 times 🤣 still keeps coming back. He even removed part of my growth plate.
