@teaseats: ✨UNDERRATED & AFFORDABLE NEW RESTAURANT IN LA✨ After my meal at this Nikkei (Peruvian-Japanese) spot, my first thought was: why aren’t more people talking about this? The Hummingbird Ceviche House comes from acclaimed chef Ricardo Zarate, who you may know most recently from his Colibrí pop-up or previously from spots like Causita, Mo Chica, and more, and who is credited with introducing Los Angeles to Peruvian food. Of course, they have ceviche, tiradito, and other classic Peruvian seafood dishes, but to me they really shine in more creative takes, like the Shrimp Dumpling Ceviche wrapped in perilla leaves and the Miso Black Cod Taco. They’re also surprisingly affordable for the level of skill and quality of the food, with almost everything on the menu being under $25 (the only exception is the ribeye steak). The Hummingbird Ceviche House is located in Echo Park, and they’re open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday. They also offer private buyouts on Sundays and Mondays starting at $2000 for 10-12 people and ranging all the way up to 30 people, which is perfect for a special occasion like a birthday dinner or a corporate party. You can DM them to schedule, and say I sent you for 10% off! Send this to someone who needs to try it, and follow me for more new restaurant reviews and recommendations like this! 🪶 @The Hummingbird Ceviche House #food #foodtiktok #Foodie #fyp #losangeles #latiktok #lafoodie #thingstodoinla #RestaurantReview #foodreview #echopark #peruvianfood #hiddengems #finedining #ceviche #seafood
