Given kids’ continued interest in history and history told from the perspective of a kid, Scholastic should reissue the Dear America series because those are so ready to have their moment again!

I helped in my middle school library in the early 2000’s. We helped the librarian do this only we had to look at the card in each book. I found one that the last check out was my uncle in 1978 😂

I guarantee if you hold up the summer of Riley and say "who wants to read a book I love?" at least one kid will give it a chance.

is it bad that now I want to go to my library and check out my favorite books every other year just to make sure they don't get weeded so others have a chance to read and fall in love with them too?

as hard as it is to get rid of a Spanish book, it will be cool for your Spanish students to have materials in Spanish for art 🥰

Maybe the book fairy can have a sad books shelf and see if any of the kids will read them

look at all that space for books the kids are interested in! but also I might need to check out Sherlock Files. I hadn't heard of those and they sound interesting.

the spine crack on the books that have never been checked out in over 20 years must be SO satisfying
