I liked being alone as a kid. I would wake early and avoid my parents. I recently realized none of my kids are room kids, they are always in the living rooms.. they don’t try to avoid me. 🥹

Yeah as a mom who was single and exhausted I did everything with my baby until about 13 then I became a bedroom parent! Depression and anxiety got the best of me! I wish I could have did better

Same. When I get overwhelmed/anxious it is so hard for me not to want to retreat to my room though. It’s been a hard habit to break but I’m so glad I recognized it early. ❤️
