I would say scoot the table, couch and rug to the right (away from the wall) to center it more in the space! that way it will be more in line with the TV and not feel crowded against that wall

a coffee table to fill in some of the space in the middle would be such a great addition.also if you’re allowed, repainting the walls to a more flattering color would make your everything blend nicely

I like the area rug, it looks good. But I agree, it would like a bit better if it, and the couch and side table, were more centered in the room.
