have to say I'm much respect for Avery Brooks but I will say this for him he's got a chip on his shoulder when it comes to Star Trek he's a very private man but don't down your fellow star trekkers!

Probably the most amazing actor that I’ve seen in so few things. I’ll always associate him with Deep Space Nine & American History X. Ben Sisko is probably the most well rounded captain in all Trek

The relationships he had with his onscreen son, with Terry Ferrell and Nina Vistor was great i wish they could convince him to come back. looking at all the Captains he was the best one.
