@wonderanddwell: After the floor was installed, we noticed around the toilet area the tiles and the pattern on it was slightly darker than anywhere else. We thought it was just a coincidence more than anything but Hilary did question if there was a leak - we decided there wasn’t. On a couple occasions over the past weeks we smelt like a toilet / pee smell and we just put it down to the kids or numerous cats and dogs we have. Yesterday the smell returned and we investigated and went under the floor today. Looks like the toilet or plumbing work has been leaking literally since installation all into the joists, flooring and walls. Those tiles are ruined, the flooring looks like it’ll need replaced and I wouldn’t be surprised if the wall needs dismantled as well. The joys of renovating. I’m Literally sick. 😭 #renovation #homereno
