I took this video quickly, not thinking that anything would even show up on camera. When I got home and watched the footage back, I realized that I DID capture the Aurora borealis on camera! A lot of people don’t know that the photos you see online are NOT what the naked eye is seeing. There is a lot that our eyes don’t pick up on, so many people use cameras to pick up all the hidden colors. This video very closely shows what the northern likes looked like to our naked eye, thought we saw a bit more light in person.
