The worst parts for me after I say I can’t hear is the person starts over enunciating or they just get frustrated and start repeating themselves quickly.

I’m only partially deaf and have issues with this so I’m so sorry 🥺. My favourite is when they huff if I keep repeating that I can’t hear them as if it’s an inconvenience.

It sucks really bad. I’m slight hard of hearing. Loosing as I age. There are people I can’t understand at all. There are frequencies I can’t hear at all. Sounds like a or c are hard to hear

I’m really sorry. I became disabled in my 30’s from an accident. I’ve come to realize that most people are simply incapable of meaningful empathy. Makes you appreciate those who have it.
