Osb comes pre marked . 16”&24” on center. As a general contractor. You would be fired for going way too slow.

I’d rather run a chalk line after all the plywood’s down, faster and easier.

i mean you see the nail on the top of your last sheet and the truss over the new one then you nail going up... an experienced carpenter should be able to eye ball a 48inch straight line 🤷🏽♂️

This sheathing has no lines and it’s better to take some time to nail all the studs than to miss most and fail an inspection. The Osb boards from the Home Depot and Lowe’s have a side with the lines already marked for you to avoid doing this. But yeah, it’s always better to take your time and do it right the first time. Practice makes perfect

Everybody saying great job, Obvious they don’t know code, Every 4” not every 12”. But nevertheless it’s straight.

For those of you who think it doesn’t matter, the nails freeze in the winter, the heat in your home rises, and melt them, and depending on the difference, you get drips of water in attic

This is the kind of thing that gets you repeat customers. I can tell within an hour of someone working on my house whether or not I would hire them again. When I see contractors go out of their way

could have made that tool 200% better if it had a guide and the stud. then you didn't need to line it up.
