After spending 6 years in college my brain was BURNT. Every time I opened a book I was bored & unmoved. So I stopped. I accepted that maybe I just didn’t enjoy reading anymore, even though the thought broke my heart a little. Time passed but I missssed it, I missed that love. I decided I needed to read a book that taught me nothing. A juicy story full of action and fantasy… to bring me back to the origins of my relationship to reading. After not being able to read a book start to finish for (almost exactly) 2 years — I read again. In fact, I devoured this book. I finally found my love for reading again 😭. Shows & movies they belong to the world but books… books give us the power to create a world. Thank you to everyone who suggested this series. I’ll never forget the spark that its brought back into my life.
