my mom once told me asking for reassurance is a bad thing to do bc she said it’s annoying and that it tells people that i don’t trust them. that made me feel so much worse about it.

this. im slowly learning how to simply ask for reassurance, because the right person wouldn’t hesitate to give it. but also, learn to reassure yourself that neither of you are doing bad for existing
