Nope! Gotta see the other side. Most “deshedding” tools are little razors that cut the top hair and don’t actually pull the shedding hair. No.

It’s not cutting I have a Aussie and tool like this and what you see flying there is a lot of the undercoat that dogs with coats have like his and my Australian Shepard! They love it does not hurt!

as a groomer I use ot alot on short haired dogs and my own horses. I don't recommend it on say Australian shepherds or a breed with coats like that do to breakage and damaging of the coat.

Just ordered one of these for my 2 Shepherd/Lab mixes. All the ads I have seen have had either a Shepherd or a Lab. They do shed year round - mine just take turns which is shedding the worst!

My husky German Shepard mix is a shedding machine I could knit a sweater with all the fur I get off her I use a different tool but she loves to be brushed. 🥰🥰
