Its canon but just because its toriyamas work doesnt make it canon. He worked on GT and its not canon. He worked on all the movies and we just got the first canon one with super broly.

It doesn’t follow continuity unless Shin fuses with Kibito before daima ends because they unfuse before Tournament with Universe 6 so it isn’t canon to supers story.
