As a former caregiver of dementia patients this is probably the most difficult type of care. You're doing God's work. You won't regret any minute you've spent caring for your father. Blessings 🙏

My grandpa would call my dad and say he was lost, my dad would drive the 5 blocks to his house and sit with him and he would say, How did you find me. Dad would say, We'll always find you.

My dad would repeatedly ask to take him to the emergency room because his arm hurt. Often this would go on from 9p to 3a. There were a couple occasions he simply walked out the house.

I love watching your videos. your dad is so sweet :) I'm a caregiver as well to my 61 year old down syndrome uncle. he got diagnosed with dementia he aslo had a stroke. I'm learning as we go.
