The day my daughter was born, I had status epilepticus and an emergency cesarean section was necessary. After the surgery, I had a dislocated arm and my daughter was in the incubator for 3 weeks.

Hi, I'm really intrigued to know what the connection is between csf leak/epidural blood patches and seizures? I had a spontaneous csf leak a few years ago and wasn't able to get an epb for a couple months and had a severe cognitive decline during that time, but I had no idea about seizures until very recently and think I'm having many focals. I'm wondering if I was having focal seizures back when I had my leak too but I just didn't know what they were. I'd really appreciate any insights into this connection! ty!
