Im a substitute teacher and that is sooo hard with me 1) being young in my 20s and 2) being a SUB it’s like the lack of respect is doubled lol but ive had good experiences thus far. A happy medium!

My kids are close to me but I have my boundaries and they know that. One obvious and simple example: them: “we’re going to follow you on social media” Me: “sure, when you graduate.”

they’re the weakest at instruction and boundaries and rely on “they feel comfortable with me” to try and make up for it. the good ones grow out of it.
