Replying to @tjattjat55 the answer to this question depends on the stage in which you’re starting because every month looks a little different for babies 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 2-4 months old: we followed the four catches for the most part because she was going so often and I didn’t know her potty cues yet (her behaviors that she repetitively does when she has to potty) the four catches are putting baby on the potty during these times -everytime baby wakes up in the AM &after every nap -after every feed -before &after every outing (including walks) -if I caught her already going in the diaper or during diaper changes 4-6 months: her digestive system seemed to slow down during these months maybe because we introduced solids here and she was going to the potty a lot less which made the process a breeze and I started to really understand her schedule and I always knew when to expect a poop or pee! I also really started to see she KNEW the potty during these months and she would do anything to get my attention by signing to me or crying and giving me cues she had to go! 6-9 months: she really stopped going in her diaper all together with the exception of an occasional “miss” and at night she would pee in her diaper. She sleeps throughout the night so I never wake her up to potty. We of course see some days where her schedule shifts but we just pay closer attention to her during those shifts! For the most part this is her schedule! 6-7 am wake up and pee on potty (a lot of times poop too 8 am- breakfast 10:30ish- nap 12:30ish- wake up from nap and poop always (if I don’t pick her up right after her nap she will go in her diaper) she always has to poop right after this nap 1:00ish pm- lunch 1:30- pee potty time and we usually leave the house or play 3:00ish pm- potty pee time 3:30pm- nap time 4:30pm- potty pee time 5:00-6:00ish pm- dinner &read/play 6:30ish- potty pee time& bath 7:00ish pm- nurse baby girl & put her to sleep #sahm #newmom #momtips #pottytrainningmom #pottytrainghack #babytok #newborn #9monthsold #MomsofTikTok #momtok #fyp #foryou #foryoupage
