I remember watching Barefoot Gen and the images in the movie are the exact same as the drawings. It's hard watching the kid trying to be hopeful and help his remaining family in the aftermath of this.

Everytime I think about this I get so sick. People in my class were so nonchalant when watching a docu on it. I was holding back tears. It’s probably the most horrifying things we’ve ever done.
