One foot will rest on a glider, fuzzy sock, or dish towel. Hover the heels slightly off the ground. 👉🏽start to slide one leg out to the side keeping the leg long. as you bend into the standing leg, make sure knee tracks in the same direction as your toes (on a slight diagonal). Move SLOWLY and with control here, rushing this will risk injury and cheat you of a good burn! 👉🏽keep shoulders stacked over hips, not popping the booty out as you would do in a glute focused side lunge. 👉🏽only slide out until you feel comfortable, then with control grip with inner thigh to slowly return to standing. -- 2️⃣plie squat to tip toe lengthen (20x) 👉🏽as in Move 1 focus on keeping shoulders stacked over hips and lengthening tailbone to the ground, not popping the butt out 👉🏽lower to a plie with thighs parallel to the ground, then press through ball of the foot and toes to return to standing. As you come to fully extended legs, lift the heels off the ground and hold. lower the heels and sink back to your plie squat 👉🏽for more challenge you can perform this move with heels lifted the entire time -- use a chair or support as needed!
