Scrolling through videos about calling the cops on neighbors because I just an hour ago had to when I heard a woman screaming as though she was being hurt, I keep questioning if I did the right thing by getting involved by calling the police but this video and the comments are reassuring me that doing nothing would've been worse

called the cops anonymus. they came and i heard the woman take the mans side. police left after half an hour. 1 hour later the neighbour saw me outside in the garden and told me he'll get a revenge. now i'm the one living scared here 🫥

I’m a little worried about my neighbour atm. I keep hearing things that seem sus, but nothing that I can completely chalk up to DV. Idk if I should call someone, I also have like 5 houses around me and I don’t know which one it comes from :/

I just did this right now for the same reason I never felt so scared an ptsd all is quiet now but I’m scared it’s getting worse 😩 I hope the cops come next time fast enough I hate this

We share a wall- duplex. Are bedrooms are right next to each other. Heard them arguing all night. Then for about an hour or more at 2am I hear her say stop, don’t touch me, get off me. She didn’t want sex and he would not take no. I walked over to their door and rang tveir doorbell and just went back in my house. It went silent. It was a warning. I hope it helped and didn’t make it worse. I can’t tolerate DV.
