Elevate the hand and elbow when you are sitting. If you are allowed, you can add an ace bandage by starting at the hand and wrapping to the elbow. Just make sure you can move your fingers.

Regarding the swelling. Similar symptoms….My son had a cast too tight which caused a pinched nerve.

I hit my head in February and the same thing happened to me. It’s taken until now - November, to feel normal again. Keep an eye on anything else abnormal. Glad you’re mending but that hand! 😔
