Jeju Island, South Korea trave guide ✨🍊 Jeju Island is a volcanic paradise known for its stunning waterfalls and lush landscapes. Koreans often refer to it as the “Hawaii of South Korea” because of its tropical vibes, plenty of outdoor activities, and mild climate. I always wondered if there was a place that could combine beautiful nature with a great café scene, and I finally found it - Jeju is truly a slice of heaven on earth for me. If you haven’t been yet, I can’t recommend it enough! Getting to Jeju is super easy, with quick one-hour flights from Seoul or Busan. Things to Do in Jeju: 🍊 Waterfalls – Don’t miss Jeongbang Waterfall and Cheonjiyeon Waterfall; both are absolutely stunning! 🍊 Pink Muhly Grass – This seasonal beauty can only be seen from mid-September to November. There are lots of spots on the island to catch it, but we visited Camellia Hill Botanical Garden. 🍊 Jusangjeolli Cliff – Check out these amazing hexagonal volcanic rock pillars along the coast. It’s such a breathtaking spot! 🍊 Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak) – This volcanic tuff cone is popular for sunrise hikes, and trust me, it’s a beautiful place to watch the day start! 🍊 Tangerine Picking – Jeju is famous for its tangerines, and you can go tangerine picking from the end of October to February. We chose Mikkang Storage, and it was such a wholesome and fun experience! These tangerines were the sweetest I’ve ever had! 🍊Cafe Hopping – My favorite thing about Jeju is the coffee shop scene, so naturally, I had to go cafe hopping—it’s my go-to activity when traveling! Where to stay in Jeju: We stayed at Seaes Hotel & Resort, and it's honestly one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever been to! It’s a seaside property with gorgeous grounds and some great dining options.
