I'd imagine they'd have applicants if they offered free or very cheap housing in exchange for living there for several years and taking care of the cats.

I don't understand why Japan won't set up the infrastructure for a tourist destination and have like a hotel there or something

So many available homes & they come with an entire cat army. Where do I sign up to take up the caretaker role?

What will happen to the cats? They don’t know how to feed themselves because they’re used to people feeding them

iirc, the island has next to no electricity. or none. no internet. it's a rough spot for winters but has a hot spring. so it's very simple living and no real work hence the move to the cities for need

Part 2 | POV: You Moved to Japan for Dance Training, then you Bumped Into a Cold Stranger… Turns Out It Was #NI_KI , and Now you guys were Paired Up as Dance Partners. A few days had passed, and it was finally the first day of training. You woke up early and got ready. You looked at the clothes from the starter kit and saw the sweatpants. They looked cool and comfy—so why not wear them today? You grabbed your stuff and headed out. When you arrived at the dance studio, there were already a few trainees waiting near the front desk, talking and sitting around. You looked around and then—your eyes stopped. It was him. The guy from a few days ago. Even if this was just training, his outfit was still on point. He wore layered clothes, rings, and those same stylish shoes. You quickly looked away and tried not to stare. Soon, the staff came and led everyone inside. They gave a quick tour. There was a girls' and boys' fitting room, a clean comfort room, and even a small snack bar with water and a few snacks. Then they showed you the main dance studio—it was big, bright, and had mirrors everywhere. There were even small individual rooms on the side, probably for personal practice. The moderator stood in front of everyone. “Training will begin in a few minutes. Please get ready and wait here.” You walked to the snack bar and pulled out your tumbler. You started filling it with water, letting your mind settle for a bit. Then… you heard voices behind you. A few guys were chatting, and then—one voice caught your attention. It sounded very familiar. You turned your head slightly—and your eyes widened. It was him again. The same cold guy. But this time… he was speaking English. And fluently. You froze. Wait… what? You blinked. You weren’t hearing it wrong. He was really talking in full, clear English to one of the other trainees. You stared for a second, confused. Didn’t he said he doesn't speak english before? You tried to brush that off and tried to focus on something else. You were just standing by yourself, holding your tumbler, looking around quietly. Everyone else seemed to know someone. You felt a little alone, not knowing anyone here. Then, someone walked up to you. “Hi!” she said with a kind smile. She bowed slightly, saying her name in Japanese, but then paused. “Wait… do you speak English?” You quickly nodded. “Yeah, actually.” Her eyes lit up. “Oh, really? That’s great! I’m actually half—Japanese and American. I wasn’t sure if you’d understand me.” You laughed a little. “Yeah, I’ve been struggling with Japanese, so this is a relief.” She smiled even brighter. “Let’s get to know each other! I’m Aiko—and you?” You told her your name, and the two of you started chatting. It felt nice. She was funny, friendly, and seemed just as excited as you were. Then the moderator clapped loudly, catching everyone’s attention. “Okay trainees, let’s begin!” You and Aiko stood beside each other in the dance studio as everyone gathered. The music started, and the warm-up began. Simple moves to get your body moving. You followed the instructor, stretching and stepping with the beat. After the warm-up, the moderator spoke again. “This class will help you improve your skills. But only if you’re willing to learn, give effort, and push through. So stay focused.” Then the real training began. They started with the basics—clean movements, good posture, balance. The teacher showed how to make everything look smooth and sharp at the same time. You could feel your heartbeat rising—not just from the dancing, but from excitement. This was just the beginning. >> After training, you were refilling your water bottle, still catching your breath, when Aiko came over with a bright smile. “Hey, want to go out for a bit? I know a good café nearby. Let’s get to know each other more,” she offered. You smiled. “Sure, I’d like that.” (Comment section++) #ENHYPEN #ENHYPENAU #ENGENE #NI_KIAU #FYP
