I am feeling confused. How is this sunnah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not permit his son in laws to marry other women. If it was sunnah would they not have followed after him? Secondly during his (pbuh) marraige to Khadijah R.A. he remained monogamous. I am under the impression that this is an option for men and allowed but not sunnah. This doesnt make sense
