@yourstrulyworldwide: Starting your day with God is more than just letting go of your own burdens—it’s also about leading by example for your children. They face challenges too, even if they can’t always express them. As parents, it’s our responsibility to guide them to the One who is always there, even when we can’t be. ‘Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.’ (Proverbs 22:6). If we can teach our children anything in life, let it be about God’s love and faithfulness. This morning, I gave my worries to God, and I made sure my children saw that. Why? Because one day, when they’re feeling the weight of the world, I want them to know they can turn to Him too. ‘The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.’ (Psalm 34:18). Let’s show our children how to cast their cares on Him, for ‘He cares for you.’ (1 Peter 5:7). When we aren’t there to hold them, God always will be.
