@philhatesgluten: Replying to @Gluten Free With Casey C We went to the most recommended gluten free restaurant in Florence Italy 🇮🇹 @restaurant in florence We weren’t in the mood for a pizza so we got some pasta and ravioli instead i love that when you walk in here they ask if you have allergies, and they have a whole separate kitchen for making gluten free food. i will say as a dairy free person without a translation card or anything, and with it being so busy, it was a little difficult to communicate dairy free versus lactose free but that’s on me cuz i could have been more prepared to communicate and they still made it work with my meal. i just played it safe with a pasta that didn’t have any dairy elements in it but i’m so happy i did cuz it was unreal the chicken cutlet was a little dry and i’m not sure if that is because they didn’t use any butter or dairy? but i wouldn’t recommend that particular dish, but the rest was great! and if we went back we’d probably get the pizza but we were a little pizza’d out that day anyways, definitely worth a visit if you’re in florence because the food was great and it’s a cool atmosphere!
