Its always a hit and so easy to make 🎄🎁✨ INGREDIENTS: 3-4 cinnamon sticks 1 cup sugar 1 cup fresh cranberries 2 bottles of fruity red wine (Cabernet, pinot noir, or a blend) 1/2 cup orange liquor, like Cointreau 1 gala apple 2 barrett pears 2 oranges 2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1/4 cup apple cider juice or apple cider cocktail mix 1 cup orange juice 1/2 cup brandy (optional) DIRECTIONS: Make the simple syrup mixture by combining sugar with 1 cup water in small saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat. Cook until sugar completely dissolves. Turn off and remove from heat. Add in 3 cinnamon sticks and cranberries. Let cool to room temperature. Thinly slice the fruits. In a large bowl, combine all of the sliced fruit, wine, liquor, optional brandy, orange juice, and apple cider. Take the cooled cranberry cinnamon simple syrup and sweeten to taste (start with 1/4 cup, work your way up. I used about 3/4 cup). Cover with a tight fitting lid and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Up to 24 hours or overnight is ideal so all the flavors can infuse together. Serve chilled or over ice.
