if you pour a couple gallons of creek water in that corner you could test if it flows down. could section off said corner like a triangle 📐 shape, so water doesn't get in the kitchen. but creeks dry.

tamp it all down really good, check the gradient. put down a bunch of charcoal, tamp it. cover it with gravel or atleast wood chips. it will help drain and clean the water at the same time reduce mud
