I personally still dont see the inherent need to like emphasize the power dynamic in a classroom— feels and seems like prison and often leads to disproportionate treatments for minority students!

Kids don’t understand so you have to make it clear to them asap especially if they already show the first sign of disrespect. I rather have a student or two dislike me >> not being taken seriously.
