I’m still going with chimney effect. Have not witnessed it with cold water. The Bernoulli and computer models leave out the human standing in the path of most of the water spray.

This never happens to me, but in the video you have one single curtain, i feel like having two (plastic inside, decorative cloth curtain outside) nullifies it

In the fire service we have a method called hydraulic ventilation which is just using a hose line to pull smole out of a room by flowing water out of a window, the moving water pulls air with it 1/2
