Man I despise they made Starkiller non-canon. It’s one of the only stories that shows Vader legitimately wanting to overthrow and kill the Emperor by showing he knows he can’t do it alone.

Palpatine didn't really care about the duel with Obi-Wan, he just made Vader's suit suck so Palpatine would always have a combat edge on Vader, and to keep Vader in pain

Ppl have to realize, Palpatine was the only person Anakin had left. He had lost everyone else in his life that he cared about, so after everything was said and done he didn’t want to kill Palpatine.

actually it’s not bc he was mad anakin lost it’s bc he feared anakins strength and sensed he wasn’t completely loyal so he designed a suit that wouldn’t allow him to reach his full potential.
