true reason is because one year is actually 365 days and 6 hours, so every 4 year we have 24 bonus ours and we use it on February's 25th day

The time it takes for the Earth to orbit around the Sun is 365 & 1/4 days, so instead of introducing some confusing quater day timeline, we have an extra day every 4 years. Did u have fun learning?
