What started as a vandalized mailbox quickly turned into a whole moment. One day, I walked outside and saw my mailbox had been completely destroyed. And while that moment could’ve just been frustrating, it sparked something in me instead. I saw an opportunity—not just to replace a mailbox, but to reimagine it. To reclaim it. To turn something ordinary, something most people overlook, into a meaningful form of self-expression. That’s when I found @Adoorn . @BEHR Paint @The Home Depot I chose both the small package mailbox and the wall-mounted one—not just for their upgraded security, but because they were beautiful. Solid. Intentional. Functional and aesthetic. And in that moment, I knew… I couldn’t build anything average around them. I wanted my mailbox to speak before I did. I wanted it to introduce me before anyone ever knocked on my door. To feel like an extension of my home, my creativity, my energy. And listen—this project was no small feat. A full month of unpredictable, on-and-off Atlanta rain turned this vision into a lesson in patience, flexibility, and perseverance. But through every muddy moment, I kept coming back to the intention: that even the most forgotten corners of our lives deserve care. Deserve beauty. Deserve to be seen. So if you’ve been following along through this wild buildout—thank you. Your support, encouragement, and excitement reminded me why I share these pieces of my journey in the first place. I want to challenge you: look at everything in your life as a canvas. Even the things you think don’t matter. Especially those. Because expression lives in the details—and sometimes the smallest things say the most. #Home #Adoorn #Adoornyourhome
