We go 2-3 times a year and never spend more than $200. I use the promos for booking and we don't do extras. The waterpark and dance party is PLENTY for my kiddos and they love the themed rooms.

We've given up on GWL. we have several community centers in our large Metro area with waterparks. we just do a day pass for 2 days in a row and stay at a hotel nearby with a pool. Much cheaper.

i loved this place as a kid, but we got really lucky because both times we went we got to go for basically free - i won a writing contest once and then my mom won a trip for us through her work

We do GWL on a budget. I only ever pay $85-120 a night and we only do magiquest. But yes- it could be super expensive if you did everything. We are at traverse city right now!

we've been to the Modesto CA location a couple of times...I always check Groupon for deals! and there's a Costco next door for cheaper pizza!

Kalahari is the same way, we were like we could’ve gone to Florida for less 😂 Tip: get a room with a kitchen and cook meals in room. Cheaper in the long run.

we usually take our son there for his birthday in February but it's getting too expensive. we go for 3 days 2 night. we spend well over 1200 for 4 of us. I don't feel like it's worth it.

I like the kalahari better it may be pricey but at least you get a kick out of it. I stayed at great wolf lodge in the dells and I prefer any where else but there. it costs way to much its not worth
